How the Trust Helped Us

“The allotments at St Marks Church have been a great success in the local community by providing a space for those who sometimes live in small flats locally to grow vegetables plans herbs. A lovely community spirit has developed between gardeners who share seeds gardening tips and tools too. It was the Trust’s generosity that made this project possible”

Rev Martyn Shea – Vicar St Marks Church

“We are so grateful for the help we had from the St Helier Youth and Community Trust without such funding we could not have competed and done so well at the National Choir Finals. We endeavour to make our choir and its tours accessible to everyone regardless of income so the assistance with travel costs for some of our members who are residents of St Helier was invaluable”.

Imogen Nichols – Director, Music Originals

“The First Tower Community Association helps fund and run the youth Club at First Tower known as the “Hangout” funds from the Trust have helped us develop a programme of activities which now attracts over 100 young people to the club and provides much needed recreational facilities in the area as well as advice and guidance to our young people when they most need it”
