The Trust is a non-political, non-religious body whose aim is to benefit the residents of the Parish and for the Trust to grow in the ensuing years. Although the Parish of St Helier through the legacy of the former Youth Committee sets aside an annual grant to the Trust, one of the tasks for the Trustees is to raise additional funds in order to grow the work of the Trust for the benefit of the community as a whole.

Such fundraising is achieved through fundraising events, donations from other appropriate Trusts and foundations and the receiving of bequeaths and legacies.
